Welcome Back !!!
We are so happy to be able to invite everyone back to the Queens Head.
To make sure sure that you and our staff are in a safe environment we have made a few changes. Following our risk assessment please follow our Covid secure guidelines so that everyone can enjoy their visit.
If you have had ANY SYMPTOMS relating to Covid 19 please STAY HOME & do not visit us, stay home for 7 days and get a test, also contact NHS 111.
Guests MUST wear a face covering when entering and at any time when not seated. Staff will also be wearing face masks at all times.
To follow the government guidelines we will be taking visitors names and contact numbers to assist with the NHS track and trace system these will be kept for 21 days then destroyed.
Bookings are not necessary. We can only allow groups of up to 6 people at a time both in the bar and in the garden areas. (groups in the bar must only be from 1 household or family bubble)
We can now only serve alcohol with a substantial meal. We will clarify this on arrival.
Children will of course be welcome but they must stay at their table while here. unfortunately if they can not keep to the social distancing measures your group may be asked to leave.
We have worked hard to rearrange some furniture around the pub to make social distancing easier, creating wider walkways and more space around tables.
For the moment we have taken out our pool table and gaming machines to further reduce contact surfaces
There will be sanitising stations around the pub for everyone to use.
We have optimised our outdoor seating to try and provide extra room for visitors
(please note visitors outside will not be able to come in the pub in case of adverse weather conditions.)
We will only be giving table service & we will be using disposable menus and condiments to avoid contamination.
There will be NO seating or service at the bar. All service will be done at the table.
We ask that people use contactless payments where possible.
There will be signs to help our visitors follow these guidelines and we hope everyone will understand that we are also getting used to this new normal and give us space and time to adjust.
Anyone that does not follow these guidelines will not be served and will be asked to leave. We're sure everyone will respect each other and enjoy their visit.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding at this difficult time!
